This role is vital to maintaining a safe, compliant, and fully functional facility where uptime and responsiveness are crucial. Working on a days & nights shift pattern, the engineer will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and ensure the continuous operation of electrical systems in a live clinical setting. Key Responsibilities Perform PPM and reactive tasks on a wide range of electrical systems including lighting, distribution boards, emergency power systems, and fire alarms. Respond to urgent maintenance issues promptly to minimise disruption to clinical services. Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs on LV systems and equipment.
