The Role – Year 6 Teacher, Accrington, Lancashire The school is seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher in Accrington, Lancashire to work as part of a three-form entry Year 6 team. This is a long-term supply position covering maternity leave for one academic year and is not suitable for ECTs. Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers who are confident teaching upper Key Stage 2 and preparing pupils for SATs. Up until SATs, the successful Year 6 Teacher in Accrington, Lancashire will teach their own Year 6 class during afternoons only, as the Assistant Headteacher will be covering mornings. During mornings, the role will involve supporting across the other Year 6 classes and, on occasion, covering in other year groups as needed.
