A leading accountancy practice in Leatherhead is seeking an experienced and motivated Audit Team Leader to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA part-qualified or newly qualified auditor looking to step up into a more senior, supervisory role within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

The Role:
You'll play a key role in the audit team, leading fieldwork, supervising junior staff, and working closely with managers and partners to deliver high-quality audits. You ll be exposed to a wide variety of audit and accounts work, with plenty of opportunity to take on more responsibility and progress.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading audits from planning through to completion
* Supervising junior staff and reviewing their work on-site and in the office
* Liaising directly with clients and building strong relationships
* Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under FRS 102
* Working with managers on risk assessments and audit planning
* Supporting ACA trainees and contributing to their development
* Ensuring work is delivered within deadlines and to a high technical standard
About You:
* ACA part-qualified or newly qualified (or equivalent)
* Experience working in audit within an accountancy practice (essential)
* Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and UK audit standards
* Good communication and leadership skills
* A team player with a proactive and positive attitude
* Confident managing client relationships and leading fieldwork
