Senior Project Manager (Defence)

About us:
We are the Information Intelligence Group (IIG) of CACI UK, a specialist software consultancy providing bespoke solutions to solve complex operational problems. Due to some exciting growth within our Defence business, we are interested in speaking with an experienced Project Manager to join one of our live projects within our Defence Team.
Role Location:
You can work from any of our 6 offices in the UK (including Bristol, Cheltenham & London) or from home, you decide. The role will however require you to be 2-3 days per week onsite at Corsham with the customer at Corsham.
The Opportunity:
As an experienced Senior Project Manager, you will be working within our Defence team, taking delivery responsibilities for a new large technology refresh project. You will be responsible for high-level planning, project deliverables, and ensuring high-quality levels are maintained from both a project and people perspective. Other typical responsibilities include:
1. Responsibility for the delivery of the project or services to the agreed cost, timescale, quality, and scope.
2. Managing relationships and engagement with customers and partners.
3. Providing leadership to the team.
4. Providing oversight for the delivery of supplier partners and resolving issues as they arise.
5. Communicating and facilitating in diverse situations with stakeholders and key customers.
6. Adopting appropriate delivery methods and tools.
7. Constantly reviewing progress and tailoring delivery methods to the specific delivery.
8. Reporting on the project and issue escalation.
9. Becoming an active participant in the CACI delivery community, sharing best practices, supporting & mentoring others, and continually improving our delivery processes.

For our current requirement, we are looking for someone with:
1. Experience delivering enterprise-level IT projects within the Defence Sector.
2. Strong understanding of DecSecOps.
3. Strong stakeholder engagement skills able to manage senior defence customer relationships and handle difficult situations/resolve conflict.
4. Project commercial awareness, such as budget tracking, risk management, and forecasting.
5. Ability to build and maintain high-performing teams.
Due to the industries we work in, we require the successful candidate to be able to obtain high-level security clearance. To qualify for this, you must be a British citizen and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.
