Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal
Position: Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal at IVC Evidensia UK (Town and Country Vets)
Base pay: Up to £65,000 plus relocation allowance up to £5,000 and a welcome bonus up to £5,000.
Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Surgeon you will perform a mixture of consultations and surgery across three practices. You will be responsible for patient work‑up, diagnosis, treatment and post‑operative care. You will take sole charge during certain periods, manage caseloads, and maintain accurate records. Working patterns are flexible:
* Full‑time vets usually work four full days with a day off each week.
* Saturday rota includes 1:4 or 1:5 Saturdays with a day in lieu.
* No out‑of‑hours or bank holidays; part‑time hours can be discussed.

Town and Country Vets is a first‑opinion small animal group with sites in Blackburn, Clayton‑le‑Moors and Whalley. Facilities include ultrasound, digital X‑ray and an in‑house blood machine. The team comprises 5 vets, 1 clinical director, 9 nurses, 1 VCA, 7 receptionists and 1 practice manager. The practice values professional development and work‑life balance.
