Duties
* Welcome guests warmly and manage reservations efficiently
* Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a timely manner
* Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, maintaining food safety standards
* Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including table settings and general environment
* Handle guest enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly
* Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required
* Manage cash register operations, including basic maths for billing purposes
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
* Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Requirements
* Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable
* Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills
* Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
* Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not essential
* A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt within a dynamic environment
* Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
