Salary: £14.25 £16.50 per hour + sleep-ins (£50 per sleep-in)
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Includes evenings, weekends & sleep-ins

Are you a confident, compassionate, and experienced residential childcare professional looking to step into a senior role?
We are seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker to join a well-established childrens residential home providing high-quality care for young people with emotional, behavioural, and complex needs.
As a Senior RSW, you will help lead the day-to-day running of the home, providing guidance and support to the team while ensuring children receive safe, nurturing, and consistent care. You will play a key role in promoting positive outcomes, emotional wellbeing, and resilience for young people aged 1018.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver person-centred care in line with individual care and placement plans
Build positive, trusting, and therapeutic relationships with young people
Support the development of life skills, independence, and emotional resilience
Lead shifts confidently in the absence of management
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals
Support rota planning and ensure adequate staffing levels
Requirements
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Willingness to work towards Level 5 Leadership & Management
Significant experience in residential childcare
Experience supporting children with EBD/SEMH or complex needs
Experience leading shifts and supporting junior staff
Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
Understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and behaviour support
