The Role
My client is seeking an individual to join the Hotel as Sales Manager for a period of 12 months. Working from our Hotel in Ashford Kent, travelling the UK for business meetings, client appointments and agency visits. The role is predominately Monday - Friday, however occasional weekend shifts will be required. Starting on 0/07/2025 (or potentially earlier if possible).
As the Sales Manager you will be a hunter gatherer, actively seeking out and securing new business opportunities. Your role will focus on driving revenue growth by engaging directly with corporate clients and TMCs, showcasing our exceptional facilities and services.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities across key markets and sectors
Nurture the relationships with direct clients and booking agents
Deliver tailored presentations and proposals that highlight our venues unique offerings
Negotiate and close deals to consistently exceed sales targets
Stay ahead of industry trends competitor activity and market insights to maximise sales effectiveness.
Requirements for Maternity Cover Sales Manager
We are looking for a self- motivated sales leader with the confidence to drive the business forward, to succeed in this role you will need to be:
A natural dealmaker with a proven track record of B2B sales
Skilled in prospecting and relationship building
Highly driven with the ability to thrive under pressure and exceed targets
Minimum 2 years Hotel Sales Management Experience
A positive, friendly, strong communicator, adaptable, and always one step ahead.
