About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team in Bracknell. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning, working closely with teachers to raise pupil attainment and provide high-quality classroom support.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver learning activities to individuals, small groups, and whole classes under the direction of the teaching staff.
* Support teachers with planning, preparation, and assessment to ensure effective learning outcomes.
* Provide targeted interventions to support pupils with additional needs.
* Contribute to the creation of a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
* Supervise pupils during lessons, activities, and transitional times, promoting good behaviour and inclusion.
* Assist with monitoring, recording, and reporting on pupil progress.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to support pupil development.
Requirements
* HLTA qualification (essential).
* Proven experience working within a school setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to use initiative and work both independently and as part of a team.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive approach to supporting children’s learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
