Payroll and People Advisor needed in Chelmsford Paying £26 - 30,959 k per annum ref 19519 Full time hours on a temporary basis Responsibilities: Compile contracts of employment and ensure compliance with HMRC statutory absence legislation. Manage payroll transactions, including tax, national insurance, and pension regulation contributions. Undertake user acceptance testing for payroll systems. Provide high-quality payroll services and customer-focused transactional support. Resolve payroll queries efficiently and perform analytical processing within one or more payroll disciplines. Deliver advice, support, and guidance that is simple, clear, efficient, and effective. Requirements: Strong understanding of HMRC statutory absence legislation. Knowledge of tax, national insurance, and pension regulation contributions. Experience in compiling contracts of employment. System knowledge to undertake user acceptance testing. Ability to handle a high volume of diverse transactions and work to strict deadlines. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
