Cedar are delighted to be supporting a reputable client of ours London with the recruitment of a Senior Procurement Officer to work within the Construction Category. The role is Permanent and will require you to get into the office in London on a Hybrid Basis. The main purpose of the role is to lead on the delivery of medium to high value tenders, some of which are complex and over threshold. The salary on offer is between 45-55K per annum Benefits: Over 30 days annual eave, Over 10% Pension contribution, Employee discounts etc. Main Duties: Lead medium value and risk tenders through all stages of the process from initiation through to contract mobilisation. Manage multiple procurement projects at any given time. You will need to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels including senior managers and budget holder. Work collaboratively with subject matter experts including legal teams to develop the form of contract, special terms and conditions, KPI's and where appropriate incentive or payment strategies Conduct thorough market research prior to develop a procurement strategy Assess sustainability and social value to maximise beneficial impacts arising throughout the procurement Prepare a tender evaluation report on completion of the tender exercise; Support the mobilisation of the contract prior to handover Attend project/review board meetings as required; Ensure effective communication and engagement with stakeholders and partners (including external suppliers) Essential Requirements: CIPS level 4 or equivalent by experience Experience of running end to end procurements across a range of routes to market Extensive experience of working to PCR2015 OR PA23 Be able to get into London on a hybrid basis Experience in the construction category, to NEC/JCT would be desirable If you are keen to know more, then please apply below or alternatively, please do refer someone for a voucher if they are successfully placed.
