JOB TITLE: Temporary Patient Services Advisor (Receptionist) REPORTS TO: Patient Services Team Leader HOURS: 35 Job Summary: To provide care navigation and support to all patients and allied health professionals. To provide administrative support and services to all members of the Practice team. Job responsibilities: Appointments - To ensure total familiarity with the patient appointments system including routine and emergency bookings and protocols. - To book appointments and recalls for patients and clinicians, either on the telephone or face-to-face at the desk.

* To be aware of changes in the implementation of bookings as needed. - To greet patients at the desk and monitor arrivals, monitoring the flow of patients in the waiting areas to ensure the appointment system accurately reflects the arrival of patients. Maintenance of Patient Registrations - To be familiar with the registration process for all types of patient (temporary, full or Out of Area) and apply as requested. - To maintain administrative patient information accurately (address details, telephone numbers) and update as required to reflect accurately every patients details and to ensure confidentiality.
