Technician - Digital Services
Location: Adelaide
Hours: Full-time 37 hours per week
Pay Rate: £ per hour
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Liaise with customers and Digital Services staff to implement changes to schedules and processes.
2. Perform duties so as to minimise disruption to customers recognising that this may involve working outside normal office hours, attending user sites or working remotely.
3. Processing updates of data and systems.
4. Assist with hardware builds, configuration processes and equipment installation, including the initial ghosting and setup of PCs.
5. Contribute to the development of procedures and manuals for staff, making recommendations for improvement and ensuring the procedures are implemented and adhered to.
6. Keep detailed records of own time and ensure the delivery of work to quality, time and budget.
7. Deliver consumables and undertake the routine maintenance of equipment, as per customer requests.
8. Work to appropriate Digital Services procedures and standards.
Essential Criteria
Applicants must, as at the closing date for receipt of application forms:
9. have at least five GCSEs (grades A-C) including English, or equivalent qualifications; and
10. be able to demonstrate at least six months relevant experience in each of the following areas:
11. working methodically under instruction to strict deadlines; and
12. the use of information systems and technology.
