Land Development Project Manager – Hyperscale Data Centres

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in land development and early-stage project delivery? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading consultancy supporting some of the world’s largest hyperscale data centre clients across Europe. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the land development and pre-construction phases of major hyperscale projects. Acting as a trusted advisor to hyperscale clients, you’ll coordinate all aspects of land acquisition support, planning, permitting, and site readiness, ensuring each site is primed for successful delivery. This is a remote role with periodic European travel, offering exposure to complex, high-value developments shaping the future of Europe’s digital infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the early-stage development lifecycle for multiple hyperscale projects.
* Oversee due diligence, feasibility studies, and development appraisals.
* Coordinate planning and permitting processes, engaging with consultants and local authorities.
* Support land acquisition efforts, advising on constraints, risks, and development strategy.
* Act as the key interface between clients, technical teams, and delivery partners.
* Monitor and report on programme, budget, and risk during pre-construction stages.
About You
* Proven experience in land development, project management, or development consultancy, ideally within data centres.
* Strong understanding of planning, permitting, and development processes across Europe.
* Confident managing multiple stakeholders across complex, multi-country projects.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Willing to travel across Europe when required (role otherwise fully remote).
