About the Role
You will take ownership of defined spend categories, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and delivering cost, quality and service improvements. Working cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Finance teams, you will help shape and execute sourcing strategies that support long-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Buyer
* Manage allocated spend categories to ensure value, quality and continuity of supply
* Support development and execution of sourcing strategies
* Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts with suppliers
* Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
* Conduct market research, benchmarking and cost analysis
* Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to understand business needs
Senior Buyer
* Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across complex or high-value categories
* Develop category strategies aligned with business objectives
* Identify cost reduction, risk mitigation and value creation opportunities
* Lead supplier negotiations and contract management at a senior level
* Build strong supplier partnerships and manage performance frameworks
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to procurement best practice
