Role Responsibilities:
* To identify and actively pursue new business opportunities across amenity, landscape, agricultural, and private landowner sectors
* To develop and implement strategic business development plans, targeting key customers and sectors
* To build and maintain strong client relationships through tailored solutions, and exceptional service
* To meet and exceed sales targets and performance measures to increase market share
* To develop strong product and tree species knowledge to provide clients with tailored advice and solutions
* To stay up to date on market trends and competitor landscape, actively identify new opportunities
* To work collaboratively with the wider team, promoting the brand and product range
Skills you will need:
Essential:
* A track record in a business development role, ideally within horticulture, landscaping, forestry, retail or agriculture
* Strong knowledge of either the agricultural sector, amenity, landscape, farm or estate sectors
* A relationship builder who can foster business relationships fluidly
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across a range of audiences
* Entrepreneurial and growth-focused, skilled at identifying and developing new business opportunities
* Highly organised, personable, and motivated, able to manage own diary
* Results-driven with focus on achieving and exceeding targets
* Highly professional with excellent customer service skills
* A passion for sustainable growing practices and environmental conservation
* A team player with a collaborative and results-orientated approach
* A UK driving licence and the desire to travel
