About the Role
Engineered to Protect, our promise is to protect what matters. As a Skilled Technician you will carry out this role in the Production Department, providing assembly and machining support to Production and Engineering operations. The Skilled Assembly Technician will be based at our Barnstaple site and must be onsite 5 days a week. Salary: up to £31k depending on experience.
What you’ll be doing
Skilled assistance in mechanical and electrical assembly work.
* Training support for company apprentices to gain experience in a production and assembly environment, developing the individuals' skills, promoting shop H&S and instilling good housekeeping culture.
* Visit customers’ sites to support In Service Support Engineering operations. During these visits the candidate will be required to represent the Company in a professional manner.

* Knowledge of assembly techniques and processes
* Proficient with hand and power tools
* Understanding of quality control procedures
