To support our existing business and drive future growth, we have 3 opportunities for Apprentice Welder/Fabricators within our Power and Control division at the HS Marston facility in the West Midlands What you will do: In this role you will play a hands-on role in building, maintaining, and supporting the production of high precision aircraft components and systems. This three-year apprenticeship blends practical workshop experience with structured technical training, preparing you for a skilled career in aerospace manufacturing and engineering. Supported by our experienced team you will: Operate andmaintainworkshop tools, machinery, and equipment under supervision Assistin the fabrication, assembly, and installation ofaircraftcomponents Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions Perform precision measurements using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges Support routine inspections, testing, andquality assuranceactivities Follow strict safety, regulatory, and aerospace manufacturing standards Document work performed andmaintainaccuraterecords Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and senior craft professionals Participate in classroombased and onthejob training modules What you will learn: This comprehensive Apprenticeship, delivered in partnership with?InComm, is ideally suited to you if you are motivated, diligent, and excited by a career in Aerospace Manufacturing/Engineering. Qualifications we prefer: We expect that you?will be?just?starting?your career in Manufacturing so, alongside our training partner, we will delight in training and?supporting?you through your career journey to successfully complete your apprenticeship. That means you need to be a willing learner and committed to achieving both business and personal results whilst working as part of a team. With a natural curiosity for how things work and hands-on tasks, you will be a strong communicator and problem-solver, with good attention to detail and the ability to follow technical instructions. ?You will have obtained a minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above including Mathematics and?English and a STEM subject.
