You will need:
* Several years' experience in a VAT-focused role (accountancy practice experience ideal)
* Strong technical knowledge and an enquiring, analytical mindset
* The ability to interpret complex queries, identify core issues, and provide clear guidance
* Experience advising across a range of business sectors
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* A commercial, solutions-driven outlook
* A collaborative and proactive approach to team and client work
* Ability to explain technical issues in a non-technical way
