Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Controller to join our team on a full time temporary basis until the end of January 2026. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring efficient inventory management and fulfilment processes ensuring our clients goods are well looked after and stored safely ready for shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inventory Management and Fulfilment:
o Conduct regular PI counts and resolve any queries raised.
o Monitor product expiration dates and damaged stock to prevent losses.
o Collaborate with warehouse teams for timely picking, packing, and dispatch of orders.
o Maintain and update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
o Ensure accurate reflection of all stock adjustments in the system.
o Work with operation team leaders to investigate short picks.
o Review products on hold daily, investigate issues, and escalate as necessary.
o Assist the Inventory Manager with warehouse product profiling for optimum efficiency.
* Health & Safety Compliance:
o Ensure all inventory handling aligns with safety and regulatory standards.
o Adhere to Fidelity's overall standards and guidelines on health and safety.
o Operate consistently with Fidelity’s Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values.
Competencies
* Experience:
o Proven experience in a fast-paced warehousing and fulfilment environment.
o Background in inventory control.
* Skills and Competencies:
o Proficient in warehouse management systems and MS Excel.
o Strong data collection and analytical skills.
o MHE licenses (Scissor Lift / Bendi) are favourable.
* Personal Attributes:
o Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills.
o Strong attention to detail.
o Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
