Due to continued growth, the business is now looking to appoint a Quality Systems Coordinator to support the technical team and ensure the site maintains the highest standards of food safety, compliance and quality management.

The Role
As Quality Systems Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and ongoing management of the site’s quality and food safety systems. You will work closely with the Quality Manager and wider production teams to ensure standards are consistently met and maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and develop the site’s quality and food safety management systems.
* Oversee and maintain the product labelling database.
* Coordinate laboratory testing schedules and ensure required analysis is completed.
* Manage document control, ensuring technical documentation is accurate and up to date.
* Conduct traceability exercises and mass balance checks when required.
* Manage supplier approvals, monitoring and ongoing supplier performance reviews.
* Maintain specifications, risk assessments and documentation for raw materials, packaging and finished products.
* Coordinate raw material sampling programmes and microbiological monitoring.
* Support supplier meetings and collaborate with internal stakeholders when required.
* Manage the internal audit programme and assist with external audits.
* Carry out allergen risk assessments, validation and verification activities.
* Investigate customer complaints and maintain the complaints database.
* Support corrective and preventative action processes following non-conformances.
* Monitor technical KPIs alongside the Quality Manager and assist with improvement plans.
* Conduct internal audits and support factory staff training on technical standards.
The role also requires a strong focus on health & safety, food safety, GMP and hygiene compliance, ensuring company policies and site procedures are always followed.
About You
* At least 3 years’ experience in a technical or food safety role within food manufacturing.
* Level 3 Food Safety
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Good numeracy and attention to detail.
* The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
* A proactive and flexible approach with a strong team mindset
