About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and qualified HVAC Estimator to join our client’s team in Dartford. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning projects. This role analyses project plans, specifications, and technical requirements to determine labour, material, and equipment needs. Key Responsibilities: * Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to prepare detailed HVAC estimates. * Calculate material quantities, labour hours, equipment costs, and subcontractor pricing. * Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors. * Prepare and submit bid proposals within deadlines. * Identify value-engineering opportunities to improve cost effectiveness. * Collaborate with project management and engineering teams during pre-construction. * Maintain cost databases, pricing sheets, and historical project records. * Assist in project handoff meetings and provide clarifications as needed. Requirements: * Experience in HVAC estimating or related mechanical estimating. * Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, codes, and industry standards. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. * NVQ or equivalent * Valid CSCS * Full UK Driving Licence
