Overview
We are currently looking for skilled and experienced labourers to join our team at A&K Building Services
With our rapid growth and continued development, we are looking to hire hardworking, experienced labourers for social housing and disabled adaptation projects around Wythenshawe.
Previous experience in this kind of work is essential- labouring experience is *required*
Duties
* Kitchen rip outs and preparation, including isolation of plumbing and removal of finishes
* Bathroom rip outs and preparation, including isolation of plumbing and removal of all items
* Basic use of power tools and hand tools
* General demolition work
* Working alongside other skilled trades
* Keeping sites clean and tidy
* Be able to work as part of a team and be able to pro-actively work on your own
* Ensuring that all of the above are carried out within the Health & Safety guidelines, and Health & Safety Policy.
* Where issued, maintain tools and equipment ensuring that they are clean condition and carry out weekly checks and report any defects found.
* Be comfortable in working in a live environment and occupied homes
Skills/ Desirable Skills and Qualifications
* Relevant Trade Qualification
* CSCS Card (desired but not essential)
* Asbestos Awareness certificate – again, desirable but not essential
* Must hold a full clean driving licence
**You MUST be willing to complete your CSCS and/or Asbestos Awareness within 4 weeks of starting work**
Package
We currently are offering a full time post for the right candidate working between our kitchen and bathroom installation teams performing the duties above. All candidates must be able to commute to Wythenshawe for the work contract.
**This work is on a self-employed basis and all applicants will be required to be CIS registered and obtain a UTR number within 4 weeks of starting work**

Pay: £28,800.00-£33,600.00 per year
