Type: Permanent | Full-TimeOur client, a leading UK accountancy and advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join their Business Outsourcing Services team in Salisbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for a practice-trained professional looking to step into a client-facing,pliance-focused role within a highly respected and growing firm.About the FirmOur client is one of the UK’s fastest-growing accountancy firms, with a heritage dating back over 140 years. Their culture is built on collaboration, ambition, and a genuinemitment to helping clients and colleagues thrive.The RoleAs Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-qualitypliance services to a varied portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing annual financial statements, including statutory accounts, trust accounts, partnership accounts, and sole trader accounts
2. Managing your own portfolio of clients and acting as their key point of contact
3. Overseeing and mentoring junior staff working on your portfolio
4. Collaborating with other departments to deliver a seamless client experience
5. Ensuring work is delivered to a high standard and in line with deadlines and regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For
6. ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or qualified by experience
7. Strong background in practice, ideally within a business outsourcing or accountspliance team
8. Proficiency with accounting software and a solid understanding of UK GAAP
9. Excellentmunication and organisational skills
10. A proactive, client-focused approach with amitment to quality and continuous improvement
