Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 (pro rata) + benefits
Contract: Initial 6-month FTC

About the Job
This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing the internal control environment to align with SOx standards. Acting as a key figure within the finance team, the Financial Controls Specialist will focus on addressing control deficiencies, improving financial reporting processes, and supporting audit readiness across the business.
Duties will include:
1. Executing remediation plans for SOx control weaknesses across financial operations
2. Redesigning and implementing robust financial controls in partnership with process owners
3. Reviewing and updating process documentation (e.g. flowcharts, narratives, RCMs)
4. Conducting control design and operating effectiveness testing
