Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for residents. Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality care are vital for success in this position.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support individuals in daily living activities, including meal preparation and feeding.
* Implement and follow care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions.
* Foster a warm and friendly environment that encourages social interaction among residents.
* Drive to various locations as required to provide home care services.
* Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, families, and other team members to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
* A FULL UK valid driving licence .
* A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £12.50 per hour
