Job Title: Adult Social Worker – Community Active Recovery Team
Location: Waltham Forest
Rate: £32 per hour
An exciting job opportunity has recently become available for an Adult Social Worker to join the Community Active Recovery Team (CART), based in Waltham Forest.
Responsibilities include:
* Engaging with individuals, carers, families, groups, and communities to assess and intervene preventatively using professional judgment.
* Developing person-led Support Plans to meet individual needs, promoting choice, control, and independence.
* Using a strength-based approach to assessment, supporting individuals in identifying and developing their support networks, considering positive risk-taking to enhance wellbeing.
* Identifying safeguarding concerns and carrying out section 42 enquiries when needed.
* Delivering high-quality, legally compliant social support in a timely manner.
* Completing court-fit mental capacity assessments and engaging residents and families in best interest decisions.

Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience in adult social care or transferable skills, current registration with Social Work England, and knowledge of relevant legislation are required.
