The Research Fellow in Feline Welfare (Fixed Term) will develop appropriate frameworks for the practical assessment and management of unowned domestic cat welfare. This will involve information synthesis and framework co-creation with cat care stakeholders including welfare experts and others across the UK shelter sector.
Salary: £35,116 to £39,355 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop frameworks for the practical assessment and management of unowned domestic cat welfare.
* Work with cat care stakeholders to co-create assessment and signposting frameworks.
* Identify specific resource gaps and routes to their development.
Requirements:
* PhD degree in animal behaviour, social science, preventive medicine or veterinary medicine, or a related discipline.
* Experience of working with and coordinating a range of different stakeholders within applied settings.
* Experience with managing projects.
Desirable:
* Background in working within an applied animal welfare setting.
* Some experience of teaching or the development of training courses.
