Grove Court Home is a purpose-built care home located in beautiful surroundings in one of the prettiest parts of England. We provide the highest levels of residential and nursing care from a committed and experienced team.
Location: Grove Court, Beech Way, Woodbridge, Suffolk IP12 4BW
Hourly Rate: £13.45 – £14.08 per hour
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Shifts: 12.25 hour shifts, including weekends
About The Role
We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, personal care needs of residents in a way that respects their dignity and promotes independence. You will work alongside our clinical and senior care teams to help create a safe, engaging and comfortable environment where residents can thrive.
What You’ll Do
* Deliver personal care in line with care plans and procedures, documenting accurately.
* Report changes, concerns, incidents, or complaints promptly to senior staff.
* Support residents with social activities, routines, and meaningful engagement.
* Maintain a clean, safe, secure environment and ensure equipment is used and stored safely.
* Maintain confidentiality and comply with all policies; take responsibility for ongoing learning and development.
Qualifications & Skills
* Secondary school education with good numeracy and literacy.
* Ability to communicate clearly in English.
* Level 2 in Care (or willingness to work towards it).
* Experience caring for older people.
* Basic knowledge of Care Workers’ Codes of Practice.
