Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee all property operations, including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy management, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits.
2. Provide exceptional customer service and communication to residents and prospects, fostering satisfaction, increasing renewals, and enhancing revenue and reputation.
3. Develop and implement marketing strategies through competitive analysis and outreach to drive occupancy and revenue.
4. Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team, including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management staff.
5. Supervise daily operations, ensure policy compliance, and maintain a positive living environment.
6. Manage financial performance by overseeing budgets, expenses, and working with leasing staff to meet occupancy and revenue targets.
7. Build and maintain vendor relationships for cost-effective, high-quality services.
8. Adapt to growth and operational changes in a dynamic environment.
9. Perform additional duties as needed to support community success.
Qualifications & Skills
1. Minimum three years’ experience in residential property management, including staff supervision and financial oversight.
2. Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, Rent Café, credit screening platforms) and Microsoft Office.
3. Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills.
4. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
5. Organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities with attention to detail.
6. Integrity, professionalism, and adherence to fair housing laws.
7. Ability to adapt and work in a team-oriented, dynamic environment.
8. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant work experience also accepted. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
