My Edinburgh based client are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance professional to join a growing team to assist with key business processes.
The relevant candidate will be responsible for:
* Carrying out financial transactions including invoicing and accounts receivable
* Managing client invoices and resolving debt issues
* Setting up client accounts online
* Managing client VAT returns
* Delivering a high level of engagement with clients
* Working with regulators to manage client accounts
* Managing client documentation
Relevant experience for this role should include:
* Experience of working in a practice environment - Ideally 3 years
* Experience of financial software
* Strong client facing experience
* Knowledge of VAT regulations
* Experience of on-boarding and managing client accounts
