University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self‑motivated individual to manage the procurement and stock control of medicines in Aseptic services. The senior administration and clerical technical officer will support the UHNM Pharmacy Procurement team and the Aseptic department, which prepares and manufactures a variety of medicines including chemotherapy for direct administration to patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Split 50/50 between Pharmacy Procurement team and Aseptic services department to support medicines procurement functions, including ordering, invoicing, and follow‑ups.
* Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely purchasing of medicines and follow up any outstanding orders.
* Assist with stock management of materials used for the preparation of aseptic medicines.
* NOTE: You will not be required to participate in the preparation and manufacture of these items.
Qualifications & Skills
We are looking for someone who can show initiative, is helpful and approachable, organised, accurate, possesses good IT skills, and has strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
