Responsibilities
* Your primary objective will be to ensure the success of the business, measured by revenue growth, pipeline health, and gross margin. You will be the single accountable owner for the business P&L, optimize supply and demand, and balance driving the top line with operational efficiency.
* Work closely with Executive and Senior Leadership to align the business with broader growth goals and represent the Toptal brand.
* Build your business strategy by analyzing market opportunities, identifying high-potential areas, and testing new offerings with clients to achieve product-market fit.
* Lead the execution plan with Marketing and Talent Operations to ensure the right talent and/or solutions are available to deliver on demand to Toptal clients.
* Engage with clients on the front lines as a trusted business partner, and collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Sales to drive growth.
* Establish robust analytics and feedback loops to iterate on the initial strategy and continuously refine offerings.
* Coach, mentor, and lead a team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment focused on scalable, profitable growth.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
* 10+ years of experience driving and managing a business with strong operations understanding.
* 3+ years of P&L ownership.
* Deep connections within the HLS industry with an active network of stakeholders.
* Experience in a professional services organization driving business growth.
* Demonstrated success building and launching new business or product offerings from scratch, or relevant entrepreneurial experience.
* Experience at a technology or hyper-growth company strongly preferred.
* Management consulting experience at a top-tier firm preferred but not required.
* Leadership experience with responsibility for business results in a fast-paced, multi-function environment.
* Proven ability to develop relationships across the organization and gain consensus on processes and strategies.
* Experience with marketing technology and automation, including familiarity with marketing platforms and CRMs.
* Strong analytical skills with a track record of delivering results in ambiguous, sophisticated projects.
* Strong commercial acumen and understanding of market needs and business goals.
* Strong command of P&L and financial metrics.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work with senior executives to individual contributors.
* Excellent organization and attention to detail; able to work efficiently and mentor others to do the same.
* Adaptable to changing priorities and able to build consensus across senior stakeholders.
* Ownership mindset; dependable leader responsible for personal and team success.
