ASSET MANAGER
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Working hours: Monday - Friday between 8am and 5pm
Location: Hybrid

G4S Facilities Management is seeking a full-time, permanent Asset Manager. The primary responsibility is to collaborate with the Lifecycle Analyst, Assurance Team, and Project Management Office (PMO) to develop pragmatic Scopes of Work that will serve as the foundation for Lifecycle Plans shared with clients and the organization.
This role is hybrid; the ideal candidate should reside within a commutable distance of the Midlands, North West, or West Yorkshire, as approximately 70% of the time will be on-site or in meetings.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage lifecycle plans: Work with the Lifecycle Analyst to create, review, and strategize replacements or refurbishments.
2. Identify and assess assets: Research and identify all mechanical and electrical (M&E) assets within various buildings.
3. Create scopes of work: Develop clear scopes for accurate pricing by the PMO.
4. Oversee reactive lifecycle work: Manage reactive work processes, maintain records, and guide operational teams.
5. Provide technical support: Collaborate with Assurance Managers to advise Operational Leads on key contracts.
6. Conduct site liaison: Communicate with on-site staff to understand systems and protocols.
7. Perform asset assurance audits: Verify assets meet standards and contractual obligations using reports, inspections, and manuals.
8. Develop asset management tools: Create tools and reports aligned with ISO 55001 standards.
Candidate requirements:
* Mechanical or electrical building services qualification
* Management surveying experience
* Understanding of ISO 55001 principles
* Experience with lifecycle models and plans
* Ability to initiate, follow through, and meet project milestones
* Proficiency in IT tools and databases
