About the apprenticeship
Duties
Support the Communications Manager in promoting SWT’s live events, projects and programmes, including liaising with internal teams, promoters, artists, partners and stakeholders to ensure campaigns are well-coordinated and aligned with SWT’s vision and mission.
Create, schedule and manage bold, engaging content for social media that promotes SWT and inspires audiences, including responding to comments and messages, and building genuine connections with followers.
Organise the print and distribution of marketing materials.
Manage subscriber lists and use insights from open and click-through rates to make each campaign better than the last.
Assist with updating and maintaining content on SWT’s website to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
Provide administrative assistance to the marketing department, including scheduling meetings, maintaining records and supporting project co-ordination.
Additional information
This is a part-time position of 16 hours per week.
Flexible and hybrid working options.

£7.55 per hour for the first 12 months
National Minimum Wage thereafter
Fixed-term contract for 21 months, 16 hours per week.
Requirements
Qualifications
A-levels or equivalent with relevant experience.
Other qualifications relating to strong Welsh and English written and communication abilities.
The ability to write engaging, clear and concise content in Welsh and English, and to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients in a friendly, approachable manner.
A natural attention to detail with excellent co-ordinating and time management skills to meet deadlines in a busy environment.
Think creatively to generate new and innovative ideas for marketing campaigns and content following the company's branding guidelines.
A keen interest in the arts and the environment, to help identify trends and opportunities for the organisation.
A desire to embrace new technologies and adapt to the ever-evolving digital marketing landscape.
The ability to work independently and with the Communications Manager.
IT proficient and familiar with social media platforms and search engine optimisation (SEO).
