Overview

We are pleased to announce that an exciting opportunity for a secondment has arisen to join our CAMH leadership team in Conwy and Denbighshire as a Clinical Team Manager in Conwy CAMHS in our Child and Adolescent Service to cover a period of Maternity Leave.

Conwy CAMHS is based in Llandudno, North Wales. The team is multidisciplinary and offers a range of early intervention and direct assessment and therapeutic services to school-aged children, adolescents, and their families, referred with a range of emotional and behavioural disorders. The team leader is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the team in partnership with clinical and admin leads and the service manager.


Responsibilities

* Responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the team in Conwy CAMHS in partnership with clinical and admin leads and the service manager.
* Support a multidisciplinary team that offers early intervention and direct assessment and therapeutic services to school-aged children, adolescents and their families with emotional and behavioural disorders.
* Promote high quality, efficient, and sustainable service delivery in keeping with the principles of prudent healthcare.
* Demonstrate compassionate leadership, facilitate an open learning culture, and engage team ideas and expertise to improve care and service delivery.
* Develop positive partnerships with a range of stakeholders and ensure effective relationship building and engagement skills.
* Lead within a service that values collaboration and contributes to achieving service objectives through engagement and teamwork.


Qualifications and Experience

* Background of working within Child Mental Health Services; knowledge of the Choice and Partnership Approach (CAPA) would be advantageous.
* Willingness to hear from candidates from other clinical specialties connected to supporting emotional health and wellbeing or children and families, with transferable skills in managing performance, quality, and safety.

Conwy offers diverse environments from rugged mountains to coastlines, with access to larger cities within an hour. Relocation packages can be discussed for those moving into the area to join our team.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
