Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to residents in a care home setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to work effectively with both residents and their families.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
* Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate personnel.
* Engage with residents in meaningful activities to promote their physical and emotional well-being.
* Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and families to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping.
* A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need.
