Are you an Allied Health Professional with a passion for working with babies, children and young people? This post is part of a new Paediatric Hospital at Home Model in Tayside with a mix of Band 8a and Band 7 roles. Part-time and job shares will be considered. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team across Tayside to provide profession-specific acute-level care in home settings, focusing on early intervention and discharge goals.
Responsibilities
* Provide profession-specific clinical specialist acute level care for children and young people with complex needs in their home or home setting.
* Contribute to development and delivery of a new model to support early intervention, prevent admission to hospital, and support early discharge.
* Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team across Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy, and Dietetics.
* Engage in service development, improvement work and evaluation (desirable).
Qualifications
* Profession-specific degree and registration with HCPC and the relevant professional body.
* Knowledge and expertise in working with babies, children and young people with complex needs.
* Experience in service development, improvement work and evaluation (desirable).
