Job Description
* Responsible for developing and executing effective strategies to facilitate profitable sales in all three personal care categories. Implement a comprehensive category growth agenda in strategic channels and customers by incorporating consumer and shopper insights to deliver best in class retail solutions.
* Effectively translate data into actions for the sales team to support customer presentations, listing opportunities and the successful introduction of NPD.
* Also responsible for providing internal reporting of EPOS on a weekly and ad-hoc basis, sales trends, managing the daily sales reporting in tandem with retailer inventory. A strong relationship with Circana will also be critical to maximise 'data investment' and as the business diversifies in to new category's,requiring potential new data sets.
* Leadership, agility, an ability to create data driven recommendations, a passion for transformational growth and entrepreneurial drive will be keys to success. Be a key member of the UK commercial operation and the wider team by exuding CARE & CARE+ principles daily.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Category Manager will have:
* Proven experience in category management within the FMCG / consumer industry
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets inc. Circana
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving commercial objectives
* Knowledge of market trends and consumer behaviours in the FMCG sector
* Ability to access Surrey, 3 days per week
** Able to bring the company / commercial team on the Category journey, influencing business direction and agenda through actionable insights **
