An exciting opportunity has arisen at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust for an enthusiastic, qualified, and experienced Band 6 Nurse to join the rapidly expanding Neurogastroenterology Team. Within this role you will be helping to deliver our extensive research programme.
Our Wythenshawe and Manchester Royal Infirmary sites have recently integrated services for GI Medicine, creating some incredible opportunities for us to work differently and more collaboratively across Manchester for the benefits of our patients.
The new position is designed to strengthen and support the Neurogastroenterology Research service
You would be expected to be involved in the unit’s research programme supporting clinicians with in-house study design, ethics submissions, recruitment, data collection, analysis, report writing, submission to journals, presentations at scientific meetings and conferences as well as coordinating external sponsor led clinical trials.
Excellent written communication skills, the ability to organise a busy workload whilst remaining calm under pressure are essential qualities for this post. You must be flexible, self-motivated and able to motivate other team members to meet the needs and demands of the service. You also must demonstrate evidence of being a strong team player with plenty of initiative, imagination and determination to make a difference.
