Class 2 (C) Driver - Blackburn & Surrounding Areas £14.00 per hour (PAYE) | Minimum 8 hours pay | Multidrop work | Ongoing ad-hoc cover We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (C) Drivers to provide ad-hoc cover for a range of clients in Blackburn and the surrounding areas, carrying out multidrop deliveries across the region. This role is ideal for drivers with strong local knowledge and proven experience in multidrop operations, looking for flexible, ad-hoc work covering holiday, sickness, and peak demand periods. The Role: Driving Class 2 (C) vehicles on multidrop delivery routes Delivering palletised and mixed freight to commercial or industrial sites Ad-hoc shifts covering holidays and sickness absence Typical start times between 05:00 - 08:00, Monday to Friday Completing vehicle checks, securing loads, and maintaining accurate delivery records Providing excellent customer service and representing clients professionally Pay & Hours: £14.00 per hour (PAYE) Minimum 8 hours pay per shift guaranteed Day shifts, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends may be required) Ad-hoc cover with potential for repeat bookings Weekly pay and full support from our transport team Requirements: Valid Class 2 (C) licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 12 months' Class 2 multidrop experience essential No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR/IN endorsements) Good local area knowledge and a professional, reliable attitude What We Offer: Competitive rate - £14.00 per hour Guaranteed minimum 8 hours pay per shift Flexible, ad-hoc shifts to suit your availability Weekly pay Supportive transport team Variety of local work with trusted clients
