Pinpoint Resourcing is partnering with a fast growing Insurance group who are looking to strengthen their Accounts Payable function with the addition of a Payments Administrator.
This role is key to ensuring the payment processes run smoothly, securely, and on time. You’ll be joining a collaborative and fast-paced team that’s been growing steadily, with plenty of opportunity for development as we continue to expand.
Responsibilities:
* Process and authorise payments across multiple entities, ensuring all transactions are validated and approved in line with company policy.
* Maintain accurate records of payment authorisations and ensure compliance with internal controls.
* Support bank reconciliations by preparing and reviewing payment data for accuracy.
* Ensuring payment workflows are correctly set up.
* Set up and maintain supplier records, verifying details and ensuring proper documentation is in place.
* Respond to queries from internal teams and external suppliers regarding payment status, authorisations, and general AP matters.
* Collaborate with finance and operational teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.

About you:
· You’ll have a grounding in purchase ledger work (or similar) and be looking for somewhere to continue to develop within a larger environment
· A skill set that includes good communication (both written and verbal), numerical and IT skills coupled with the ability to use MS Excel to a good standard.
· Additionally you’ll need strong attention to detail to ensure all information is entered accurately and coded correctly
