We are currently recruiting QTS-qualified Supply Teachers to work across both primary and secondary schools in the Northampton and Kettering areas. This is a flexible daily supply role, ideal for teachers looking for variety, work-life balance, or a return to the classroom without a long-term commitment.
With opportunities available across multiple schools and year groups, this role allows you to choose when and where you work.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver engaging and effective lessons across primary and/or secondary year groups
2. Follow school lesson plans and adapt where required
3. Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment
4. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
5. Support pupil learning, engagement, and wellbeing
6. Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times
7. Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of each placement where required
Requirements
8. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
9. Confidence teaching in primary and/or secondary school settings
10. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
11. Flexible, reliable, and professional approach
12. Ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
13. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
