Fuego Tapas Bar & Grill Restaurant is looking for senior Chefs to join our team in Bedford riverside.
We are a fresh food restaurant with high standards in food handling, you'd be require to have high level of cooking skills and experience
Reporting to the General Manager and Head chef, you will be required to deliver a high level and quality of service to the chefs and customers.

About the Role:
Duties will be maintaining and controlling the kitchen, such as preparation adhering to restaurant recipes and service of food as well as kitchen logs and stock controls.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure that all food meets quality standards and is prepared in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain menus that are innovative and appealing to customers
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to plan and execute special events or promotions
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Stay updated on industry trends and new culinary techniques
Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control
- Familiarity with restaurant management software is a plus
