Job Title: Approved Electrician - Commercial & Industrial Location: Portsmouth Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role: Our client is looking for an experienced Approved Electrician to join their team, working across a range of commercial and industrial installation projects. The ideal candidate will have completed a full apprenticeship, hold the relevant qualifications, and have a strong background working in commercial or industrial environments. This role will involve a variety of electrical installation and testing duties on secure and high-specification sites, so attention to detail and a commitment to high safety standards are essential. Key Responsibilities: Carry out electrical installations in commercial and industrial settings Perform testing and inspection duties to Level 3 standards Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current electrical regulations and best practices Work collaboratively with other trades and teams on site Complete relevant documentation and test certificates Maintain high standards of health and safety Essential Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation Completed AM2 ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician grade preferred) City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Test & Inspect Level 3) 2-3 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience Full, clean UK driving licence In-date UK passport (required for security clearance on specific sites) Strong understanding of electrical regulations and practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits: Travel paid door-to-door, ensuring you are compensated from the moment you leave home.
