St Ann's and Alderney Hospital are looking for an experienced Chef who is passionate about food and wants to make a difference. The ideal candidate will have passion for culinary excellence, strong leadership abilities and the ability to problem solve and build relationships.
Role and responsibilities
* As Chef Manager you will have full operational control and financial responsibility including the staff dining rooms for the two sites reporting into the area facilities manager.
* Supervising and supporting the two catering teams, ensuring the day to day operation is smooth running.
* Recruiting, managing and training catering teams.
* Planning of menus, orders, deliveries and budget control.
* Managing food safety, Health & Safety, COSHH and allergens legislation.
This post is part of the Facilities & Estates Service that Dorset Healthcare may transfer to an NHS wholly owned subsidiary company, from November 2025 or later.
