We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for the role of Social Work - Senior Practitioner within the Children's Specialist Support Team in Bracknell. Key Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to a care management service ensuring children's voices are heard.
2. Operate within relevant legislation and departmental policies.
3. Advocate for safeguarding and protection of children and young people.
4. Manage caseloads, including assessment, care planning, intervention, and family support.
5. Assess needs of children and families, designing effective service delivery plans.
6. Collaborate with partner agencies to coordinate services.
7. Participate in duty rotas for child protection concerns.
8. Prioritize workload and engage in regular supervision.
9. Maintain accurate case records and ensure information security.
10. Listen to children, document their views, and complete life journey work.
11. Work towards organizational priorities like timely assessments and child engagement.
12. Ensure access to translation services when needed.
13. Participate in team meetings and contribute to service development.
14. Support and train colleagues, including students and newly qualified social workers.
15. Work with families with complex needs.


Minimum Qualifications:

Hold a BSc/MA in Social Work or equivalent, with registration with Social Work England (or in process).
