The Marketing Administrator plays a key role in supporting both the marketing team and company directors. Responsibilities include managing marketing calendars and budgets, coordinating events, preparing promotional materials, organising meetings, conducting research, responding to customer enquiries, and sourcing products and materials.
This role calls for excellent organisational and time management skills, a good understanding of digital marketing, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to ensure the smooth delivery of campaigns and projects. No two days are ever the same — the ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and be energised by variety and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administrative Support: Manage marketing calendars, schedule meetings, and maintain departmental budgets.
* Content Management: Help maintain content and libraries, and help gather content for marketing activities.
* Event Coordination: Organize and manage events and event bookings, assist with pre-event and post-event communications.
* Campaign Support: Assist with the creation and distribution of press releases, email campaigns, and other promotional materials.
* Sourcing: Assist in gathering information and analysing data. Helping with purchasing decisions for marketing and head office functions
* Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with the directors and marketing team, other department managers and external suppliers.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
* Organisational Skills: Strong ability to manage tasks, maintain records, and organise workflows efficiently.
* Digital Marketing Proficiency: Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, and the ability to manage content updates on WordPress
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external interactions, and the ability to create compelling copy for various marketing materials.
* Proactive Attitude: A confident, proactive self-starter who is keen to get involved, help others, and support a busy, fast moving department
