About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a paediatric nurse or a qualified nurse with paediatric experience who is innovative, motivated, and creative. You will lead service delivery to promote continence and manage incontinence among children and young people aged 0-19, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to advise, support, treat, and signpost children, young people, and their families.
Key responsibilities
* Assess children's continence needs, plan, implement, and monitor care.
* Provide specialist advice to parents, carers, and professionals.
* Develop, lead, and deliver a continence service for children and families.
* Carry out assessments, analyze complex information, and evaluate clinical care.
* Support and supervise staff and train parents/carers on continence management.
* Refer children to specialists and coordinate care plans.
* Participate in team planning, training, and service development.
Qualifications and skills
* Relevant paediatric nursing qualification and experience.
* Specialist skills in continence management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
