You will strive to ensure business outcomes are clearly understood and associated solutions are delivered to enable the business to realise benefits on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
You will take overall responsibility for planning and leading the delivery of the whole change lifecycle for projects covering both Business and Technical driven migrations, creating a reusable strategy and approach.
About the role
1. Lead end-to-end project management for migration projects within the organization.
2. Develop and implement comprehensive migration plans, including migration strategy, scope definition, resource allocation, and documentation.
3. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations during migrations.
4. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges and issues that may arise during migrations.
5. Monitor and track project progress, identify deviations from plan, and take appropriate corrective actions to keep projects on track.
6. Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure their requirements are included in migration plans and effectively communicated to project teams.
7. Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
8. Develop a migration practice including a toolset with templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand capabilities.
About you
1. Experience leading complex migration projects with cross-functional teams across multiple parties.
2. Highly competent in ETL or ELT migration tools and managing data translation and loading via staging areas.
3. Ability to translate complex data requirements to a business audience for clarity.
4. Proven ability to work in ambiguous environments and collaborate across areas to achieve objectives.
5. Interpersonal skills to influence change and enhance performance within a cross-functional environment.
